There are several easy ways to support Hightower Trail Middle School. Please consider participating in these activities.
• HTMS Night Outs – Zaxbys, Moes, Jets Pizza and others will donate a percentage of your purchase on designated HTMS Night Outs. Events will be communicated through the Husky Highlights weekly newsletter.
•Box Tops For Education – General Mills donates 10 cents for each clipped Box Top. Clipped Box Tops can be given to the front office.
•Ba A Part of the Art –Be A Part of the Art is an opportunity for your student to become a part of one of the murals painted in our school. Your student can leave their mark on our school by purchasing space on the mural for their name to be included in the art. For $25.00, the artist will hide your student’s name in one of the murals, which will become a part of the school for years to come. Give your family and friends something to look for when they visit the school or attend activities at Hightower Trail. Don’t miss out on this one of a kind opportunity! HTMS Scrip Program - Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”. When you buy scrip, you are buying gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials, and with every purchase, you earn money for Hightower Trail Middle School.
How does scrip generate money for the school?
We will buy scrip from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a discount and re-sell it to families like yours for full face value. We buy the cards at a 2% to 15% discount or more and the difference in the discounted amount and the face value of the card is revenue for the school. For example, if we receive a 10% discount on a pre-paid card with a face value of $100, we will make $10.00 on that scrip purchase.
How do I place an order?
To place your scrip orders, you need to first create a ShopWithScrip®account. Go to www.shopwithscrip.com and click on the ‘Create Account’ button in the green Family Sign Up box on the left side of the page. This will take you to the ‘Family Registraton’ page. Simply fill in the required fields on the form and accept the terms and conditions of the site. You will be asked to select two challenge questions and provide answers, which will be required if you forget your password. Keep in mind that your answers are case-sensitive. You will also need to enter our organization’s unique enrollment code which can be obtained by contacting Stephanie Herrington, our program coordinator, firstname.lastname@example.org.
