There are several PTSA sponsoired programs throughout the school year.

Honoring Our Heroes

Over the winter months, students can enter the Honoring Our Heroes contest.  This program is a student writing program designed for students to write about their real-life heroes and role models.

Reflections

In the Summer and Fall, students can work on and enter the Reflections Contest.  Thsi contest is a National PTA sponsored arts recognition program that encourages artistic expression.

HTMS Talent Showcase

In Feb 2016, HTMS held its first annual talent showcase.  We had over 20 different acts perform and students that hosted the night.  Money raised fomr ticket sales went to benefit the Relay for Life charity.  We raised over $1,000 in our first year!  We plan to make this an annual event.

Husky 101

In May every year, the PTSA sponsors a 1/2 day camp for rising 6th graders.  The camp gives upcoming students a chance to see the school.  The schedule for the day is designed to help students develop organizational strategies for middle school success, review summer reading requirements and to feel more comfortable when changing classrooms, opening lockers and finding connections classrooms.
